The Neck Lift Procedure
For simpler cases, we offer neck lifts with oral sedation and local anesthesia right in our clinic. For more complex situations, we arrange for a general anesthetic at a trusted ambulatory surgery center, guaranteeing your well-being. We also clarify pre-op requirements during a dedicated visit.
For focused fat reduction: Using a small liposuction cannula, we often perform this with local anesthesia alone.
For fat and muscle enhancement: When excess fat and flaccid muscles are the issue, we provide in-office solutions with oral sedation and local anesthesia.
For excess skin resolution: Our team expertly removes excess skin through discreet incisions behind the ears, along the hairline, and under the chin.
Neck liposuction takes just 30 minutes, while cervicoplasty with muscle repair and skin removal requires 1.5 to 2 hours.
Your Recovery and Results
You’ll be up and about right after the procedure. Feel free to engage in light activities, such as walking for exercise during the first week. After that, most ordinary athletic activities can be resumed.
You’ll wear a compression strap for about a week, though it’s not necessary in public. Patients typically describe post-op pain as mild soreness, ensuring a more comfortable recovery.

While bruising may occur, it’s usually temporary. You can confidently go out in public looking natural within about a week.
