The VI Peel Procedure

Prior to treatment, patients may be advised to discontinue certain skincare products to reduce skin sensitivity, all covered in the professional consultation. Additionally, patients should avoid excessive sun exposure and use sunscreen to protect the skin.

During the VI Peel treatment, the skin is cleansed to remove any oil or debris. The chemical solution is then applied to the targeted areas of the skin using a brush or applicator. The patient may experience a mild tingling or burning sensation, which subsides within a few minutes. The psolution is left on the skin for four hours and is removed with water by the patient at home.  The patient is given at-home instructions for post Peel directions and skincare regimen.

Initially following treatment, most patients report a flush similar to a sunburn. Two or three days post treatment, the treated skin will peel or flake to reveal healthy skin with ultimate results within seven days of treatment.
